Careers Support

The Careers Centre is a vital resource for the students, open every day of the school week. Our Careers teachers are available to assist parents and students in making informed decisions around subject choices and in planning future career paths.They assist with university entrance requirements and applications as well as applications for scholarships and all other career opportunities. Students are encouraged to drop in and have a chat.

The newly revamped Careers Centre is located in D209 where information on job availability, training courses, apprenticeships and university courses is readily available. Students have access to technology which can be used to create resumes and research relevant career information.

The Careers teachers are also here to assist students in the transition between Year 10 and Year 11.Year 10 students and parents are welcome to contact our Careers Team via email Launceston.College.Careers@decyp.tas.gov.au.
