Learning from Home for LC students in isolation - Continuity of Learning

We know that Year 11 and 12 is an important time for students on their educational pathway.  For this reason, it is a priority that we are able to support students to continue to access learning opportunities while in isolation.

There are three categories of how we will endeavour to support you if you are in isolation:

1. If you are Covid-positive and suffering from significant symptoms, your priority should be on getting well.

Please try not to feel anxious or upset about missing school - our teachers will support you on your return.  Your wellbeing is the most important factor at this time.

2. If you are Covid-positive, but only suffering from mild symptoms and feel like you are able to continue your learning from home, support will be provided by your teachers through Canvas, email or other online/digital tools.

3. If you are isolating because you have been deemed a close contact through your family or exposure to a Covid-positive person outside of school, support will be provided by your teachers through Canvas, email or other online/digital tools.

The Department of Education are also providing some online tutorial support for English, Mathematics and EALD for students learning from home - students can access these online tutorials through Canvas by logging on with your DOE credentials (username and password).
